GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY
Take the next step to an exciting year in Spain
We have been training teachers since 1998 and have helped hundreds of non-EU citizens come to Barcelona to live and study legally.
We have almost a 100% success rate in obtaining long-term student visas for those coming from countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand!
Our modern school in the centre of the city is an ideal learning environment and our vibrant community of teachers and graduates will help you settle into life in Barcelona in no time.
There is high demand for English teachers in Barcelona (and online), and many schools rely on us to help them fill teaching positions.
We have a database of around 100 schools in the city who are keen to be put in touch with our CELTA-qualified graduates and we are also able to recommend online companies.
During the CELTA course, you will also attend a dedicated careers session and receive personalised support from our Careers Advisor.
Please note: if you are on a long-term student visa, we cannot guarantee that you will be offered a job straight away with a school willing to apply for your work authorisation. But, we will offer you a lot of support, including advising your employer on how to do this.
The Cambridge CELTA is the most recognised TEFL certification worldwide. This means you will already have a great head start and can continue to build on this certification to help you stand out.
Our Spanish classes, which are part of the Developing Teacher Course with Spanish, are accredited by the Instituto Cervantes which is the sole accreditation for institutions teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
We will also provide you with a certificate for this, which will prove to employers that you are serious about your development and have studied with a leading course provider.
At Oxford TEFL, we provide a visa support service for trainees taking our TEFL courses that wish to study in Spain.
Our visa service in Barcelona is different from a lot of other course providers. We actually provide assistance from within the school—we don’t outsource to another company.
This means that our Spanish Visa Advisor, Diana Guralev, can work with our non-EU trainees to ensure that they get fast and reliable service while keeping costs as low as possible.
Originally from the Slovakia, Diana has has first-hand knowledge of every aspect of visa applications and common problems which may occur.
Diana has lived in several different countries before settling down in Barcelona, where she obtained the Cambridge CELTA with Oxford TEFL to complement her Master’s degree in British and American Studies.
