Lindsay Clandfield is a Canadian trainer, teacher and award-winning author. He is a tutor on our Trinity DipTESOL course and the Course Director of our teacher development courses.He’s the lead author of Macmillan’s critically-acclaimed coursebook Global, and the force behind the popular blog Six Things. Has written numerous books for learners and specialist books for teachers in addition to being a frequent speaker at international conferences for English language teachers. In this blog post he provides some of his tip for passing the unit 1 written exam of the Trinity DipTESOL course.

Blythe is one of our Developing Teacher with Spanish and Teaching Business English graduates. She is a freelance ESL teacher and entrepreneur currently based in Barcelona, Spain. She began her teaching career in Bangkok, Thailand where she served as an English educator for the Royal Palace of Thailand. She has since worked with teens, adults, and business executives over the course of her 10+ year teaching career.

Rubens Heredia is a CELTA tutor and teacher trainer based in Barcelona. He is one of the creators of the website and YouTube channel What is ELT? and is also a vlogger for the magazines ETprofessional and Modern English Teachers (Pavilion ELT).

An active member of the ELT community both online and offline, he’s a frequent speaker in international ELT conferences, such as IATEFL, TESOL and Bras-TESOL.

He started working as an English teacher in Brazil in 2002 and has been working with teacher training and development since 2012. He holds the DELTA and is currently taking an MA in TESOL at Nile/University of Chichester.

Kate is a teacher and teacher trainer at our school in central Barcelona, Oxford House. She teaches adults and young learners at the school and in-company classes in the city. Originally from Lancashire in the UK, she has taught English in Honduras, Bolivia, Galicia and London. Kate has taught all types of English from General English and Young learners to Business English and exam preparation classes. As Oxford TEFL Connect coordinator, Kate organises all the online events, ensures the platform runs smoothly and is your go-to person when you have any questions or need to request support from one of our tutors. She has been tutoring on the Developing Teacher course since 2011 and coordinating the course since 2016.

Tyson Seburn is a tutor on our blended Trinity DipTESOL course. He is also an EAP instructor and Assistant Academic Director of International Programs at New College, University of Toronto. He holds an MA Educational Technology & TESOL from the University of Manchester. His main interest focuses on identity and its various impacts on teacher development. In addition to this, he is Coordinator of the IATEFL TDSIG committee and author of Academic Reading Circles (The Round, 2015).

Farid Bashiri is one of our Trinity DipTESOL graduates and he is also a teacher trainer certified by the British Council.
He has been working in ELT for more than 15 years and has presented at numerous local and international training events.
Farid is currently based in Turkey and runs his own teacher training workshops with the support of Oxford TEFL.

James McIntyre-Ure is a senior educator in a university. He has a Diploma in Coaching and a strong background in education including a Degree, Masters degree and over 15 years experience teaching English in South Korea, Thailand, Spain, Malta, Ireland and Vietnam.
His work on teacher wellbeing has been showcased at multiple international conferences.
He specialises in motivation, building confidence and gaining a greater sense of self-control and he uses evidence-based Positive Psychology when coaching or mentoring teachers.
