Purposes: A) Process and manage the registration and services. B) Send you information and communications about our new courses, promos and discounts, events and language exchanges and new blog posts to improve your language, including through electronic means. C) Publication and promotion of organised classes/activities/events through the use and publication of images (photographs and video) taken of the same, on all types of physical and/or digital media, including the notice boards on our premises, social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), the web page and on social media (YouTube) and a historical record of the organised activities/events.

Legitimation: A) Execution of contract. B) Legitimate interest of the user. C) Consent to the use and publication of the images for legitimate interests.

Transfers: Only for those necessary for the provision of the service and those legally provided for.

Conservation: A) During the validity of the service and, once it has finished, during the legal conservation period to meet any possible responsibilities. B) Commercial communications: until the student requests their withdrawal. C) Your image will be preserved as long as it is published in the media described and serves the purposes for which it was captured and published.

Rights: You can withdraw your consent at any time, as well as exercise your rights of access, rectification, blocking, portability and restriction by contacting the controller. In the event of disagreement, a complaint may be made to the Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

1. Deposits (the first month of your course – €300) are non-refundable.

2. The full course fees must be received by the payment deadline listed in your place offer email.

3. Your place on the course and fees paid cannot be transferred to another person.

4. If you would like to postpone your start date and notify us…

…before submitting your visa application, we will provide an updated letter of enrolment at no extra charge. All fees paid (including the €300 deposit) will be valid for a future course taken within one year of postponement.

…after submitting your visa application, it will not be possible to make any changes.

5. If you cancel your registration and notify us…

…before receiving a letter of enrolment, you will receive a refund of all fees paid except for the deposit (€300).

…after receiving a letter of enrolment, no fees will be refunded unless your visa application has been rejected (see below). This measure is in place to prevent visa fraud.

6. If your visa application is rejected, you will receive a refund of all fees paid except for the deposit (€300). You will need to send us a copy of the rejection letter before the refund can be processed.

7. If you were not issued with a letter of enrolment for visa purposes, our standard payment policy applies:

7A. If you would like to postpone your start date and notify us…

…at least 1 week before the course starts, all fees paid (including the deposit) will be valid for a future course taken within one year of postponement.

…less than 1 week before the course starts, you will need to repay the €300 deposit to join a later course. Any other fees paid will be valid for a future course taken within one year of postponement.

…after the course starts, you will need to repay the €300 deposit OR the prorated fees based on the amount of training received prior to cancellation, whichever amount is higher.

7B. If you cancel your registration and notify us…

…at least 1 week before the course starts, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid except the deposit (€300).

…less than 1 week before the course starts, no fees will be refunded. However, a portion of your fees may still be valid if you wish to join a later course (see postponement terms above).

8. Once you have completed your studies, you may be able to renew your visa by enrolling in at least 7 additional months of Developing Teacher Course with Spanish. The visa renewal fee is €60 and is not included in the course fees.

9. If you fail to complete at least 85% of the course, you will not receive a course certificate or a letter of course completion. You will also lose access to the visa support service.

10. We reserve the right to cancel a course up to 5 days before the start date. In this case, your full fees will be refunded (including the deposit). Trainees taking courses outside of their home country are advised to have cancellation insurance for their flights.

11. Groups of Spanish classes are formed every month, according to demand. If a minimum of 6 students is not met, alternative study activities will be arranged.

12. Oxford TEFL cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
