Farid Bashiri is a PhD student in Education (Assessment and Evaluation) at Queen’s University and a Trinity DipTESOL and IB-certified educator. He holds an MA in TEFL and a BA in English Literature, and is a British Council-certified teacher trainer. He has been teaching English since 2005, specializing in exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT) for both teens and adults. Alongside his classroom work, he has designed and delivered teacher training programs and presented at international ELT conferences and events. His current work focuses on socioculturally responsive assessment in multilingual classrooms, assessment literacy, and teacher professional development. Farid also creates content for teachers through his YouTube channel, where he shares practical strategies for effective teaching and learning.
