TEFL Courses

This course is gold. The 3 week course is a littlle intense for a working teacher, but that said it was very well structured, oodles of resources were provided and the feedback sessions were amazing. Without a shadow of a doubt I highly recommend this course.

Very professional & supportive tutors. I learnt a lot taking the Celta with OxfordTEFL. Highly recommended

I completed the online, 4-week CELTA program, and my tutors were very professional, friendly and helpful. I went from having zero teaching experience to having confidence leading my own class. Much of the course is practical, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to teach real students. With constructive feedback from my tutors, I improved tremendously from Week 1 to Week 4, would definitely recommend!!

Probably the best CELTA course provider there is. Tutors are super nice and really make the CELTA experience memorable.

I completed the full-time online CELTA Course at Oxford TEFL from Sept 29 - Oct 24 2025. They provide wonderful support from very positive & helpful tutors. I learned so much during the course, and I'm so happy with the progress I've made and will continue to show in my future teaching career!

Great course, I feel much more knowledgable and confident after this 4-week intensive course. The tutors were incredibly kind and helpful.

I've done 3 teacher training courses from Oxford TEFL. They have incredibly supportive tutors who combine rigor with confidence-boosting feedback. They walk the talk and the courses are designed with a lot of thought. It's clear that those designing the courses are highly experienced teachers who know what newer teachers need. I'd recommend this to anyone who's a teacher and is looking to upskill!

I had the opportunity to attend a conference at this school, and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it based on what I’ve seen and experienced there.

I completed the full-time CELTA course just last week, and the experience was intense, but rewarding. From OxfordTEFL fast-tracking my last-minute application and onboarding (as another provider fell through) to the ample support of the tutors during the course, and the ongoing career guidance, I recommend anyone who's thinking of getting into teaching to go for it! The only caveat, make sure that you only dedicate yourself to the CELTA during the four weeks. Each day was either an observation or a teaching practice, in addition to a planning workshop to prepare for it, in addition to learning the various elements of teaching and the assignments required as part of the portfolio. However, OxfordTEFL provides all the materials you will need for this, and the tutors take their time to guide you in identifying strengths and areas for improvement. And, while I just started with the job-hunting process properly, the career councillors have been extremelyy helpful in adapting my CV for this career chancge, and providing contact for plenty of partners. So it's definitely worth the investment!

Currently about half way through my CELTA course and I have to say I’m very impressed with Oxford TEFL! I’ve found live sessions to be inspiring and very educational, and I leave each class feeling genuinely more enriched and educated than before.

I completed the CELTA online teacher training at Oxford TEFL in August 2025. It was a fantastic experience and very rewarding. The course is intense and does take a big time commitment, but I learned so much and felt supported and inspired every step of the way. The trainers are very knowledgeable, professional, and encouraging. The online platform was well explained and worked smoothly throughout the program. Oxford TEFL centre is top-notch, they provide thorough support throughout the program and ongoing post-certification career advising. I would highly recommend this program to anyone considering doing a CELTA program.

It was a really well-organised program with helpful support. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to improve their English teaching skills. It's great that they have a lot of course options - Busines English, Teaching for Academic Purposes, Online teaching, etc..

Really useful course, excellent tutor.

I have just finished the CELTA 100% online intensive course and I have only good things to say! The tutors have been incredibly helpful and professional at all times and we have received constant feedback on our teaching, which has been very helpful! I also really like that they have a careers corner to help us find a job! Definitely recommended!

I completed the CELTA course and the Teaching Pronunciation teacher development course with Oxford TEFL. My course tutors, Billie, Sinem, and Anna, were wonderful. They were all extremely supportive while always challenging me to improve. Everyone at Oxford TEFL has been a pleasure to interact with, and I especially appreciate the ongoing career services provided by Diana. I would highly recommend Oxford TEFL for anyone interested in the CELTA or other English teacher training courses.

I recently did the Observing Teachers and Giving Feedback course and it was really interesting. I've been working as a tutor for a few years, but found the course incredibly useful and the tasks were all practical and immediately usable. The live sessions were a valuable part of the course, sharing experiences with other trainees and getting different perspectives on observing and giving feedback.

Its a brilliant place if you wan to amp up your career as TEFL teacher and want to take a head start. Great set of tutors!

My CELTA Experience: Intense, Demanding, and Absolutely Worth It From every perspective, my experience studying on the CELTA course was incredibly rewarding. It’s an intensive, month-long programme with high expectations—you’re required to deliver eight well-prepared lessons and submit four written assignments, none of which are easily passed without real effort. But this intensity is exactly what drives your personal and professional growth. The tutors are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely supportive. They lead by example, inspiring with their professionalism and dedication. Yes, the course can feel overwhelming at times, but it’s also deeply motivating. And the reward? A CELTA certificate that truly opens doors—it’s like a passport to teaching opportunities around the world. If you’re considering it, I’d say: go for it. It’s just one month that can change your teaching journey completely.

The Business English course was so insightful. Although I have been teaching Business English for nearly 25 years, I can say that I now know much more about teaching BE such as focusing on the needs of clients and not what I think clients need. I am looking forward to my next course.

I've done my CELTA, Trinity DipTESOL and other development course with OxfordTEFL. They have always been extremely supportive and helpful. They have taught many things, made me a better teacher and I believe they are a good option for anyone looking to do the CELTA or progress their teaching careers.

If you want to learn to teach EAP, I highly recommend this online course

I did the Cambridge CELTA full time online course with Oxford TEFL and I would definitely recommend them if you're thinking of doing the same course! The team is very knowledgeable and will help you with anything you need. Also the lifetime career service is something not many schools offer and it's definitely a massive bonus to have in this competitive market! All in all I would definitely recommend them to anyone

I'm really happy with my course both the content and the support from my tutor who was flexible, supportive and knowledgeable. There were a few different course providers to choose from but I'm very happy with what I learned and I feel it's developed me as a teacher

Finishing the course today! It was intensive for sure (I did the online version) but incredibly valuable, well put together and practical! The environment is friendly, while still professional, all the tutors are knowledgeable and supportive and the teaching practice is amazing! Lots of materials and guidance and I met some great people! But don't sign up if you can't make it your main focus, there is a lot to do and to learn!

I recently completed the 100% online CELTA course at Oxford TEFL and it has been an extremely enriching experience. The course was well-structured, and the tutors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to provide constructive feedback. The hands-on teaching practice gave me the confidence and skills I needed to step into the classroom. They also offer lifetime career support no matter where you are! Hope to visit Oxford TEFL in person someday.

This course was an amazing journey to the world of teaching and learning! Will never forget this! Thank you for your attitude to the trainees! Always positive and friendly!

I've just completed the IELTS teaching course, and I found it to be a valuable experience. The course provided a clear and structured approach to teaching IELTS, covering all four skills—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—in a way that was both practical and engaging. My tutor - Farid - has been always kind and supportive, ready to answer questions and provide useful insights. Overall, this course has strengthened my confidence in teaching IELTS and given me practical tools to help students succeed in the exam.

Friendly, supportive, extremely knowledgeable tutors. 5 stars!

The best course with the best teachers. So grateful for all I've learned here.

I just completed the Teaching Cambridge Exam Classes course with Oxford TEFL—my third course with them, and it was fantastic! Informative, practical, and incredibly useful for my teaching. It provided great insights and plenty of resources to explore before I start teaching exam classes. Huge thanks to my tutor for his support and guidance!

Great center. I had my CELTA and also some teacher training courses from them. Very professional in terms of delivering such courses.

I just completed the course and while it was indeed challenging it has been a very, very rewarding experience. The tutors are all, professional, kind, extremely knowledgeable and vested in what they are doing. There is a high standard set but you are given all the support you could possibly need to attain your goal!

Overall great learning experience. I recommend this course.

The help and support given at all stages to guide me through the course was exceptional. More importantly, the genuine offer of continued support going forward makes me more than happy to recommend Oxford TEFL.

The online course was top notch, definitely worth your money if you plan to get the Celta certificate.

This is a good course. There is a good mix of reading and video material, and the tasks are easily personalized to suit your needs. My tutor, Anna, had some great feedback and I really appreciated her perspective and questions.

I joined online course about "Teaching IELTS". This course helps me a lot and provides strategies that are applicable for IELTS and non-IELTS lesson.

Completing the online part-time CELTA course was a highly rewarding experience. It was challenging, yet made manageable with the support of amazing tutors, Sinem and Billie, whose feedback and encouragement were invaluable. The interactive sessions and collaborative environment kept learning engaging. Practical teaching practice and detailed feedback helped me refine my skills and build confidence as an educator. I’m also grateful to Diana for her career advice and guidance as I continue my teaching journey. I highly recommend this course!

Great course and brilliant tutors

Great experience with a lot of feedback and help from the tutors, with scaffolded learning, and a great online work!

This was an amazing experience and I will highly recommend it to anyone that wants to give teaching a try. The tutors are so pleasant and helpful and the course is designed in a way that benefits all types of learners. I´ve never known I wanted to be a teacher until I was doing this course.

Great Experience I must say , The tutors were very professional and the course itself is extremely practical as well as effective

Really useful course - and immediately useable in the classroom. I thoroughly recommend it!

Even with years of experience, we teachers sometimes overlook effective ways to connect with our students. Courses like this can provide valuable insights and open up new opportunities to enhance our teaching strategies.

I'd like to share my experience of taking an online course on teaching pronunciation. The course itself turned out to be a great combination of theory and practical assignments, which has certainly helped boost my confidence and skills in terms of teaching pronunciation. My tutor's feedback sessions proved to be highly beneficial as well, both really informative and enjoyable.

For those looking to further hone their skills in CLIL or maybe you have just finished the CELTA course, investing in the CLIL course is definitely worthwhile. The tutors are patient and extremely knowledgeable. Not only are you leaning about the course but you are also learning about yourself and how you can implement the learning in a practical manner.

One of the best teacher training centers to obtain new pracgical skills and knowledge for one's self-development as an ESL teacher

Some really great courses available. Myself, I already have taken 3 courses from Oxford TEFL. Very nice and qualified tutors available to help as well. The courses were easy to follow and I could do all the learning in my own pace. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience studying with Oxford TEFL and was offered my first position as a Director of Studies before even completing the course. An excellent choice for anyone who wants to get into academic management or deepen their knowledge of teaching best practice. Also very affordable, as Masters'-level qualifications go.

I completed the managing and supporting teachers course with Duncan and he was a wonderful tutor. I enjoyed all the real-time Zoom sessions with him. I wish I could visit the school in person one day to thank all the great teachers I have met there!

Excellent tutors and great courses!

Hello, I trusted them with the available information. They exceeded my expectations. My next step is to follow Trinity DipTESOL course at Oxford TEFL. Don Rupasinghe CELTA Graduate

The tasks set are engaging and just the right level of difficulty. It's given me valuable insight into this new world of teaching.

I just completed the CLIL course. It gave me very nice theoretical background about what is CLIL and what isn't. There was also a lot of practical, usefull material available.
