At Oxford TEFL we believe that teaching is essentially a craft, a professional skill acquired mainly with guidance and practice in the classroom. For this reason the qualifications we offer have observed teaching practice as their central focus.
As a business, we are mindful of creating value for money courses which are useful and enjoyable for you. We are a company founded by teachers and driven by them and we are committed to making a contribution to English language teaching and teacher training, not just sustaining ourselves financially.
We are also committed to supporting the education community globally, working together with charities, such as CAMFED, and partner schools to help more resources reach those with fewer opportunities. See what accreditations we have.
Alongside our language school, Oxford House, we have also developed online and face to face Spanish teacher training courses. Our learning never stops and, with the in-depth knowledge we have gathered of teaching and learning languages, we hope to continue reaching new corners of the world to help aspiring teachers realize their dreams.
We are committed to listening to you carefully so that we understand your goals and how we can help you reach them. We take your teaching forward by providing feedback to you based on our expertise and the constructive approach of our tutors in communicating this expertise. We are committed to innovating and improving our courses based on listening to your feedback during and after your course. Find more reasons to study with us!
We value the diversity of our students and our teachers. Our staff includes teachers from all over the world. We select teachers and teacher trainers based on their excellent teaching and training skills and command of English, not in the country they were born in. Our team has grown over the years since we opened and includes leading ELT professionals, trainers and writers, many of whom originally trained with us!
