Friday February 13th 2015 was the first day of our free teacher training workshops of 2015 in Oxford TEFL Barcelona. On this day, Andy Travis, Oxford House teacher and actor, gave an interactive workshop which stimulated the imaginations of the workshop attendees into brainstorming, discussing, evaluating and finally participating in some of the top theatre games to use in an ESL classroom.
Not only was this an opportunity to have fun with fellow TEFL teachers; attendees also received some useful and practical tips. One of the most important features of the workshop was when analyzing the way in which theatre games can be used to help students practice and retain language. Finally, everyone participated in contributing to the Top Games list.
