The course has given me the confidence I was lacking to coach students for these exams

I’ve just completed the Teaching Cambridge Exams course with Kat Robb which has given me the confidence I was lacking to coach students for these exams. Although the Cambridge suite offers exams at all levels, the focus is on FCE, CAE and CPE which can be more challenging to teach as the language skills candidates are required to demonstrate are very demanding. I chose the three-week course and the time factor proved to be a great incentive, driving a momentum that was really beneficial to my study. The course was very comprehensive and served not only to familiarise me better with the exam content  and testing the four skills but also looked at motivation, learner autonomy, assessment, feedback and  technology. The course tasks provided a good challenge to demonstrate and put this new knowledge into practice and reflect about what I had learnt. The input from my tutor Kat was invaluable; her feedback was always spot on and her guidance an added encouragement.
