Teachers in these type of schools, where the teaching is off site, have fewer opportunities to meet, so as well as inspiration and practical ideas, the course provided an opportunity for them to connect with each other and strengthen team spirit in the school.

Contents were negotiated with the school Director and the teachers themselves, who were canvassed for their preferences. A recent course with this group of teachers included workshops on TEFL skills such as lesson planning, using authentic materials and teaching exam classes.
