We have just welcomed a new group of lovely Trinity DipTESOL trainees to our course which started on November 3rd 2017. As part of the course, we ask our trainees to post a video to the forum which introduces themselves, explaining a little about their background, their reasons for taking the course and also to ask a question for the others to answer. In the videos below you can find out more about some of these trainees and where they are currently working in the world.
Maggie Macklin is currently working in Tanzania and joined us because she wanted to improve her teaching and provide a better service to her students. She is particularly interested in teaching young learners and helping those with special needs, and she has worked in a number of different countries already.
James Birkner is teaching in Germany and enrolled in the Trinity DipTESOL course due to a strong desire to move forward in his teaching career. He is fascinated by phonology and would like to learn more about ways of keeping English interesting and helping his students reach their goals.
Miriam Williams is currently working in Taiwan and is looking forward to advancing her teaching skills and challenging herself. She is particularly interested in learning more about teaching phonology and in the methodology of how we learn languages.
Sam Smith is based in Spain and is interested in learning about different ways of teaching English, specifically grammar. He is also keen to put into practice some of the ideas which he can use to help his students advance and is excited about the fact that the Trinity DipTESOL can open up many more doors to help him do so.
Suchetha Nair is working in Singapore and has been teaching for a few years. She is now ready to update her knowledge and skills. She is excited about the online phase of this course and taking some of the ideas she has learnt straight into her classrooms to use with her students.
If you would like to advance your career, gain an advanced and internationally-recognized qualification and help your students reach their goals, read more about our Trinity DipTESOL course or apply here.
