Qualifications: Trinity DipTESOL and BCom from Waikato University
Mikey did his CertTESOL at Oxford TEFL Barcelona in 2008 and has held various roles there ever since, being involved in management, teaching and teacher training.
He has taught adults and young learners in Peru, South Korea, Italy and New Zealand since his first English teaching position in Nagoya, Japan. He trained as a CELTA teacher trainer in 2019 and has enjoyed the new challenges this role has presented him. He is a qualified SCUBA diving instructor and also makes his own (natural) wines.
