Higor is a teacher, teacher educator, and CELTA tutor, having worked on CELTA courses based in São Paulo, Istanbul, Prague, and Barcelona, both face-to-face and online.
He’s been in ELT for over two decades and his main interests in the area include extensive reading, phonology, and language development for teachers—about which he’s written Inglês para professor (2015) and Inglês para professor 2 (2021).
Higor is a former president of BRAZ-TESOL (2019-2020) and a founding member of BRAZ-TESOL’s Teacher Development SIG. He holds, among others, CPE, CELTA, DELTA, and he’s currently preparing to start his MA TESOL in 2021. He is currently a trainer on Oxford TEFL’s 100% online CELTA courses.
