I found the grammar module particularly important for me to go through twice! There were elements I simply didn’t know and I had to learn. It left me with a strong appreciation for the challenges a language student faces. The online course was important for me as I didn’t have time to go into the school. It was just the right amount of work for me to cover over four weeks when I was also finishing a full time assignment elsewhere Anna was always helpful, prompt and encouraging. Great writing style. Upbeat and her personality came across. I felt connected, not just another number somewhere on the internet. Well-rounded responses to ensure I was thinking from more than one angle and there isn’t always only one answer. Good insights that will clearly help me. Thanks!

The tasks for this course are well organized, and easy to manage. The assignments are not too burdensome for someone who works full time during the week. Because the book is easy to read, it’s a good way to pass the time in the evening on a work night.Excellent! For an introductory course to teaching English, I enjoy this course. The on-line materials are helpful, and the tutor support is probably my favorite feature. I have never done a distance learning course, but I enjoy the feedback and input that I have received

Course Testimonials

I enjoyed the course immensely and, not knowing what to expect, I found the workload just enough. I was very grateful for the support and flexibility from the tutor. I found the telephone lessons very useful and they were great in clarifying any points which I may not have understood. It isn't always easy to study from home but I found the modules clear and easy to understand. The text book was invaluable and gave me a deeper insight into the English language, something I always took for granted. Doing the course has encouraged me to take it further and I look forward to one day doing the 4 week TrinityCert TESOL course.

I really enjoyed this online course and I'm excited to take the classroom course within the next couple of months. I enjoyed the textbook and found it very informative and clear. I also really liked the DVD that came with it. It was great to see teachers putting the ideas of the book in action. It's one thing to read about procedures but quite another to have a visual aide.

My tutor was very prompt, nice and informative. She has given me numerous things to contemplate and has helped me get a really good idea of what I'm getting myself into. She's encouraged me to think about different angles to ideas I hadn't thought of before.

I found the introduction, the program of the tasks given and the tutoring very clear. The most useful (thing) for me about the course was that the theory, explanations and instructions were described through real-life examples in classrooms.
